P S Srinivasan has over four decades of HR experience spanning across versatile industries such as mining, engineering, automobile, hospitality, consumer durables, IT and education. He has held leadership positions with global leaders like IBM, Whirlpool, ITC , TVS and VDO-SIEMENS with job responsibilities at global, regional and country levels.

In the last 15 years he has been consulting in strategic HR, developing/mentoring HR professionals and coaching business leaders.

At Universitas 21 Global (based in Singapore) an Education venture between 16 world class universities and Thomson Corp, Srini helped build the organization to launch a unique world class MBA program. He further helped the organization in seamlessly incorporating the program as part of blended learning in client organizations.

At IBM India , Srini managed the transition from the JV TATA IBM to the wholly owned IBM. He was instrumental in the cultural transformation and aligning the India organization to IBM’s global processes.

Srini later took on the responsibility of Director Learning and Talent for IBM Asia Pacific. In this role he did some pioneering work in talent management across the global IBM organization. He partnered with Mindspan consulting (part of IBM Global Services) to research and implement a learning effectiveness model across the businesses of IBM Asia Pacific.

As HR Director for Whirlpool South Asia, he played a key role in the large scale integration of Whirlpool’s businesses in India and South Asia. He was instrumental in developing a common platform for People processes and practices which facilitated the global Whirlpool entry in the region.

As HR Head of TVS Electronics (part of the legendry TVS group) he was involved in building the organization by hiring and developing some of the IT indutry’s top talent.

Since 2004 Srini has been consulting in strategic HR for over 100 clients across large and medium size organizations and in driving transformation through organization design, people practices and processes. In all his client engagements he plays the role of CHRO where he provides strategic advice on leadership and be a sounding board to the management on all people matters.

Srini is a certified coach and has been actively coaching Business leaders and helping them realize their potential and improve their leadership effectiveness. He has also been working with organizations in developing a culture of coaching through effective managerial and leadership styles.
