Sumathi Mohnani is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and has over 37 years’ experience primarily in the Finance domain. After she graduated from The University of the West Indies with a degree in Management Studies, she joined the firm of Price Waterhouse, Jamaica, West Indies as a statutory auditor. During her career, she has worked in several countries and organizations, gathering diverse experience in Controls and Compliance, Internal Audit and Accounting, Delivery in Centers of Competence, Enterprise Strategy, Sales Transaction Support Centers and CFO Projects Office.

Sumathi’s last role was with IBM India Private Limited as the Integration CFO for one of their acquisitions with presence in four countries. During her 21-year tenure in IBM, she held multiple roles in support of global and domestic functions. Her understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusion at the workspace has honed her skills in managing teams across borders and cultures.
